Kazan hosted a strategic session on the development of infrastructure for industrial parks

20 January 2022, Thursday

A strategic session was held at the Entrepreneur's House, dedicated to the construction of the engineering infrastructure of industrial parks with state support. The organizer was the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Representatives of relevant ministries, departments, executive committees of the regions of the republic, residents and management companies of industrial parks gathered in Kazan to discuss the possibility and conditions for building engineering and road infrastructure for industrial parks.

Recall that in 2021, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N. Minnikhanov agreed on the Concept for improving the efficiency of industrial parks located in rural areas with occupancy below 70%. As part of the concept, a number of legislative initiatives were adopted to provide tax benefits.

Last year, the Ministry of Economy did a great job of accrediting industrial parks for the further provision of subsidies and benefits. 62 industrial parks have been accredited, 106 agreements have been concluded with management companies and residents of industrial parks. According to forecast indicators, the volume of private investments, which have already been announced by residents of industrial parks that have signed the Agreements, will amount to 3.6 billion rubles, and about 2 thousand additional jobs will be created.

At the same time, a number of industrial parks cannot equally compete with industrial parks with a developed engineering and road infrastructure.

The strategic session will allow developing the necessary procedure for financing the retrofitting of industrial parks with engineering networks, discussing issues related to land plots, the development of design estimates, etc.

Joint decisions will be submitted for consideration to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
