Work continues within the framework of the working group on the implementation of the Action Plan to ensure the sustainable development of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in the face of a deteriorating situation due to the spread of a new coronavirus infection. This week, a meeting of the working group was held, the event was held in the videoconferencing mode.

As part of attracting experts to participate in the meetings of the working group to discuss topical issues, on a topic that is increasingly raised at the federal level - ESG transformation in the economy, a partner of Ernst & Young, head of the ESG practice in the Central, Eastern, Southern Europe and CIS countries Larin Artem.

"Green transformation" affects all sectors of the economy: transport, industry, finance, agriculture, construction. The ESG agenda is reflected in the Action Plan for the development of the financial market of the republic for 2021-2023, approved by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The next issue discussed during the meeting was the development of sectoral action plans of the republic to ensure sustainable economic growth. On this issue, reports were heard from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The President of the Republic of Tatarstan has set the task of ensuring sustainable economic growth. The activities of the working group this year will be aimed at fulfilling this task. In particular, to achieve it, the sectoral ministries of the republic are developing action plans aimed at ensuring sustainable economic growth.
