1.177 small and medium-sized enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan have applied to banks for preferential financing under the federal program FOT 3.0. The amount of applications for loans at 3% already exceeds 3.9 billion rubles.

Let us recall that the federal program of preferential lending has been resumed, starting from November 1, in response to new covid restrictions. The program is aimed at supporting businesses from the affected industries, under its terms, small and medium-sized businesses can receive loans at a reduced rate of 3%, provided that the staffing level remains at 90%. During the two weeks of the program, Tatarstan entrepreneurs received applications in the amount of 3.9 billion rubles, 216 loans for 325 million rubles were issued.

Applications for this program will be accepted until December 30, the loan is provided for any business purposes. The loan amount is calculated based on 1 (one) minimum wage, per 1 (one) employed, multiplied by 12 months. The loan term is 18 months, including a delay in the payment of interest and the loan body for 6 months, the so-called grace period, after which the loan repayment period will be 12 months.

As already mentioned, an important condition for the preservation of preferential terms under FOT 3.0 is the preservation of at least 90% of the number of employees fixed in the loan agreement. If an enterprise violates the condition of maintaining the number of employees, it is automatically excluded from the program and begins to pay the full market rate, which will be about 10% per annum. FOT 3.0 includes 17 types of activities - these are entrepreneurs and SONKO-participants of previously operating similar programs and SMEs created from July 1, 2020.

15 banks represented in the Republic of Tatarstan joined the program: PJSC Sberbank, PJSC AK BARS BANK, PJSC VTB, PJSC Promsvyazbank, JSC Raiffeisenbank, JSC AB ROSSIYA, JSC SME Bank, PJSC Bank FC Otkritie, LLC KBER Bank of Kazan, JSC Rosselkhozbank, PJSC Sovcombank, GPB Bank (JSC), JSC ALFA-BANK, PJSC ROSBANK and JSCB Energobank.
