The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan invites Tatarstan citizens to assess the need for Islamic finance tools in the economy of the Republic

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan informs about the conduct of a sociological study "Demand for partner (Islamic) financial services from the population of the Republic of Tatarstan" in the period from August 8 to 15 of this year.

The principles of functioning of Islamic finance are defined by Muslim ethical values (the basics of Sharia) for commercial transactions, financial transactions and other obligations, and transactions. Islamic financial mechanisms allow believers to get an interest-free loan, a respite on the loan without fines and penalties.

The survey will allow to study the awareness of Tatarstan citizens about partner (Islamic) finance, their demand and the willingness of citizens to participate in investing in this area, as well as to assess the need for Islamic financing tools in the economy of the republic.

The sociological research is carried out by conducting a questionnaire survey online on the official website of the Ministry in the section "Activities", subsection "Surveys of the population and business representatives".
