The All-Russian population census in Tatarstan will be held under the control of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan
A meeting of the regional Council of Heads of territorial bodies of Rosstat located in the Privolzhsky Federal District was held in Kazan. The main topic of discussion was the All-Russian Population Census, which will be held in Tatarstan from 1 to 31 October 2021.
The event was attended by Deputy Head of the Federal State Statistics Service Irina Shapoval, Chief Federal Inspector for the Republic of Tatarstan Viktor Demidov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Nigmatullin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic – Minister of Economy of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, and others.
During the meeting, the issues of preparation and features of the All-Russian Population Census were discussed. First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of TatarstanRustam Nigmatullin noted that the preparatory stages of work have been carried out in Tatarstan, and the republic is ready to conduct a census. In particular, a plan has been prepared, which includes 613.8 thousand houses, about 2 million premises. There will be 8.315 census takers working in the republic, and it is planned to involve volunteers. Also, everyone can independently fill out a census form on the portal "Gosuslugi.rf".
The census will provide high-quality information for making management decisions in Tatarstan and throughout Russia. The census data will be used for the development and implementation of social programs.
Formation of official statistics, its regional and municipal components were also discussed at the meeting. The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – the Minister of Economy Midhat Shagiakhmetovmade a report "On the information interaction of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan with the state statistics bodies and the development of information resources".
In addition, the continuous federal statistical monitoring of the activities of small and medium-sized businesses and the issues of agricultural microcensus in August 2021 were the topics discussed at the meeting.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan will monitor the implementation by local self-government bodies of the transferred powers for the preparation and conduct of the population census in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan in terms of providing protected and equipped premises, providing vehicles, and means of communication.
