Entrepreneurs from Tatarstan plan to cooperate with food retail chains in Uzbekistan

At the 20th International Exhibition "Food, Ingredients and Production Technologies-UzFood 2021", where, with the assistance of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and subordinate structures, a collective stand with Tatarstan products was presented, meetings of entrepreneurs of the republic with representatives of retail chains of Uzbekistan were held.

The companies Factory of Healthy Products, OOO, VTK "Akulchev", OOO, Arabik Group, OOO held negotiations with the largest chains of the Republic of Uzbekistan such as Fix Price, Carrefour, Marko Supermarket, Korzinka.uz, Green Apple Market, Farovon.uz, Havas, Bob's Market, ExoticFood, Baraka Market to discuss further interaction and cooperation.

Also, with the assistance of the representative office of the Republic of Tatarstan in Uzbekistan, B2B negotiations were held with "Evar" Tajik supermarket chain. Most retail chains have expressed interest in the products of Tatarstan manufacturers, and it is planned to conclude export contracts.

In addition, the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Representative Office reached an agreement on cooperation in terms of bringing Tatarstan SME to the Uzbek market and further targeted support for entrepreneurs of Tatarstan when applying to the Representative Office for assistance in promoting their products on the market of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It is worth noting that the exhibition stand of the Republic of Tatarstan at UzFood 2021 became the winner in the category "best corporate exhibition".

Let us recall that the Export Support Center, which is part of the Business Support Fund subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, pays for the rent of the exhibition space, the construction of the stand, the services of an interpreter, in turn, the costs of flight, accommodation and transportation of exhibition samples fall on the entrepreneur.
