The results of the implementation of measures to support business and the population in 2020 were summed up

Thanks to the decisions of the Russian President and Government, unprecedented support measures were implemented. This was announced today by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan-Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Midhat Shagiakhmetov at a meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan "Results for 2020. Tasks for 2021. Factors of ensuring economic development".

Small businesses of Tatarstan were granted 2.5 billion rubles of subsidies for urgent needs for more than 40 thousand entrepreneurs; more than 7.5 thousand soft loans at 0% and 2% per annum for 17 billion rubles. The deadline for paying taxes for more than 46 thousand entrepreneurs has been extended. System-forming organizations received more than 7 billion rubles of preferential loans. Families with children were supported in the amount of more than 18 billion rubles. About 10.5 thousand preferential mortgage loans were issued in the amount of about 27 billion rubles. The amount of subsidies received by republican budget from the federal budget to compensate for the decline in income amounted to 22.4 billion rubles. The total amount of support exceeds 84 billion rubles. 

To quickly adapt entrepreneurs to the current conditions, on behalf of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, a set of republican measures totaling 3.3 billion rubles was quickly developed and implemented, thanks to which it was possible to additionally support industries that were not included in the list of victims, but felt the negative consequences of the crisis.

"At the end of 2020, we managed to maintain employment in the SME sector. By the end of 2021, the number of employed people in the republic should reach 653 thousand people – this is the main indicator of the implementation of the national project in the field of small and medium-sized entrepreneurship. The main task of all ministries and departments is to maintain the number of employment and the number of jobs," the Minister of Economy said.
