The Tatarstan project “Verified Business” was presented to the country's leadership at the Forum “Strong Ideas for the New Time”

Within the framework of the plenary session of the Forum “Strong Ideas for the New Time”, the country's leadership got acquainted with the project of the Republic of Tatarstan “Verified Business”, which was selected as one of the best practices out of about 15 thousand ideas for the development of the economy, social and technological spheres received from all regions of Russia.

The best ideas that will help to reboot the economy and social sphere in the future, work out a technological strategy for the country's development are discussed within three days, from November 11-13, in Moscow within the framework of the “Strong Ideas for the New Time” forum. The Forum is organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) and the Roscongress Foundation.

One of these ideas was the Tatarstan Internet resource “Verified Business”. Let us recall that the project was launched in 2018 at the initiative of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic in order to promptly inform business about the current legislative requirements in the field of control and supervisory activities, reduce administrative pressure on small businesses, prevent violations of supervisory requirements and promote self-employment.

The main content of the site is reminders about typical violations of entrepreneurs, which are revealed by supervisory authorities, grouped by all types of entrepreneurial activity. The portal also contains practical guidance on how to prevent violations of supervisory requirements and is a tool for promptly informing businesses about the supervisory legislation in force in Russia, as well as increasing the legal literacy of entrepreneurs.

The portal has already proven its relevance - the total number of use of the useful knowledge base of the provbiz.ru website since its launch has exceeded 180 thousand. At the same time, less than 30% of visitors are from the Republic of Tatarstan, the rest are from other regions of Russia, the CIS and foreign countries.

In addition, the project received support at the federal level - at the end of 2018, the “Verified Business” Internet resource won the Control Point competition of best practices in the field of control and supervisory activities, which is held by the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation. Within the framework of the All-Russian competition of the best practices and initiatives for socio-economic development of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in 2019, which was organized by ASI, the Internet resource “Verified Business” was recognized as the winner in the nomination “Digital Development”. The practice was posted on “Smartek” - a digital platform for the exchange of effective management decisions of the regions on socio-economic development, which made it possible to replicate the resource to other regions of the country.

The Russian President promised to support the project. According to him, it is fully correlated with the work carried out at the federal level in the field of control and supervisory activities.
