The unemployment rate is below the average in 34 municipalities of the republic

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan has summed up the results of the socio-economic development of municipal districts and urban districts of Tatarstan for eight months of 2020.

According to the results of 8 months, the rating of socio-economic development of the territories of Tatarstan, according to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, was headed by Kazan. The second and third places, respectively, are occupied by Almetyevskiy and Laishevskiy districts.

Alekseyevskiy and Leninogorskiy municipal districts have risen by 5 positions relative to the positions in the previous rating. The positive dynamics of the districts in the ranking is due to, first of all, a decrease in the unemployment rate.

As of September 1, 2020, the registered unemployment rate in Tatarstan was 3.89%. In 34 municipalities this indicator is below the national average. Thus, the lowest unemployment rate was registered in Aktanyshskiy (0.51%), Atninskiy (0.66%) and Kaibitskiy (1.07%) municipal districts, the highest in Pestrechinskiy (8.7%), Vysokogorskiy (5.2% ) and Elabuzhskiy (5.04%) municipal districts.

In per capita terms, the volume of shipped products on average in the republic amounted to 434.75 thousand rubles. The highest result for this indicator was shown by the Almetyevskiy district (2671.1 thousand rubles), followed by the Nizhnekamskiy (1097.7 thousand rubles) and Elabuzhskiy (939.1 thousand rubles) municipal districts.

In terms of the number of residential buildings commissioned per capita, the Pestrechinskiy district is in the lead (3.803 square meters). In second place is the Laishevskiy district (2,737 square meters), and the Tukayevskiy (2,726 square meters) municipal district closes the top 3 in this indicator. In total, from January to August 2020, the total area of ​​residential buildings put into operation in Tatarstan amounted to 0.475 square meters per capita.
