A weekly meeting: “On implementation of the Action Plan to ensure sustainable development of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in the context of a worsening situation due to the spread of a new coronavirus infection” was held at the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. Members of the working group on ensuring sustainable development of the economy of the Republic, all municipalities of Tatarstan, representatives of relevant ministries and departments took part.

The Ministry of Economy continues to work on determining the best practices for providing property support to small and medium-sized businesses, for this it is actively working with the municipalities of the republic. So, in the Pestrechinskiy district this year, land plots were identified that are planned to be leased to SMEs to create their own business, in particular, for the placement of a farm for breeding cattle - a plot of 0.6 hectares and a fruit nursery - 107 hectares. The district plans to lease land plots at a preferential rate. In the first 2 years at 0%, then within 4 years the cost will increase on an accrual basis to 100% of the rent. Thus, the district will allow SMEs to start their own business, without additional investments.

The second example is the example of the Alkeyevskiy municipal district. At present, the municipality is considering the possibility of allocating land plots on preferential terms for the construction of industrial sites.

In addition, the republic’s municipalities are receiving requests for the formation of a unified roadmap for filling the lists with liquid assets and step-by-step leasing of property to SMEs with further purchase of the leased property. The issue was taken under control and will be implemented in the near future.

Also on the agenda of the meeting is the start of a special program to support domestic tourism. According to the program, a tourist can receive a refund of up to 15 thousand rubles, depending on the cost of the tour. For the convenience of the tourist, the program includes both package tours (flight and accommodation) and separate hotel accommodation for those who travel on their own. The state subsidy for the purchase of tours and hotel services in Russia is provided only when using the cards of the MIR payment system at the time of payment. From the Republic of Tatarstan applications for participation in the program were submitted by 26 tour operators with 170 tours and 29 hotels.

Also during the meeting, reports on implementation of measures to ensure the restoration of employment and incomes of the population, economic growth and long-term structural changes were heard from Aksubayevskiy, Tukayevskiy and Arskiy districts.
