Developers of the best food service IT solution can get up to 10 million rubles

Acceptance of applications for selection of IT solutions related to the production, delivery and preparation of food has started. Startups from all over Russia are invited to participate. The finalist will receive up to 10 million rubles for development and launch of the project in the Republic.

Projects solving the following problems of foodtech are invited to participate in the selection stage:

- packaging and delivery of finished food;

- optimization of procurement of products for restaurants;

- promotion and loyalty for restaurants;

- omnichannel booking of tables and ordering food/products;

- platform aggregation of orders/performers/counterparties;

- niche marketing solutions.

Participants must meet the following conditions:

1. being a legal entity;

2. willingness to implement and scale the project;

3. confirmed sales/pilot implementation in real companies;

4. presence of a development team to maintain the system and development/upgrading;

5. readiness for serious involvement in the project and work for the result.

After an absentee evaluation of projects, startups will be selected who will be able to present their IT solution to experts. Project authors will be able to offer their solutions to more than 5,000 catering organizations of Tatarstan. At the same time, they will receive technological expertise and information support in promoting the project from Ak Bars Bank and Ak Bars Digital Technologies.

After the public presentation, maximum 7 projects will be selected for the finals. The best will receive up to 10 million rubles to test hypotheses, integration and upgrading. The winner will be able to launch a large-scale project in Tatarstan together with Ak Bars Bank, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Association of Restaurateurs of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Other finalists will have the opportunity to implement pilot projects within the framework of the already existing acceleration program Ak Bars StartupLab https://startuplab.akbars.ru, in which the bank provides financing, expert support and integration with its own infrastructure.

Presentations of the finalists and determination of the winner will be held on July 17 in an online format.
