Midkhat Shagiakhmetov: Tatarstan has developed an Action Plan to reduce risks associated with current events
The Government of Tatarstan has prepared an Action Plan to reduce the risks associated with current events. This was announced today by the Minister of Economy of the Republic Midkhat Shagiakhmetov at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers. According to him, the Plan is aimed at prompt response, ensuring economic and social stability in the face of unfavorable external economic conditions and coordinated interaction of executive authorities, local self-government and enterprises of the republic. The document will be approved soon.
“According to the Plan, in order to ensure stable operation in the real sector of the economy, we passed to operational monitoring of the financial and economic activities of enterprises. Enterprises provide not only actual, but also forecast information, based on which an assessment of the current situation will be made and appropriate decisions will be made. In addition, meetings of balance-sheet commissions, including in municipalities of the republic, will be activated to identify and respond in a timely manner”, the Minister said.
Work is also underway to promptly inform and organize participation of enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan in federal support programs, as well as development of new forms of support in conjunction with federal authorities, including import substitution.
The republican support measures are analyzed, in particular, under the program of support for small and medium enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan. Based on the current situation, if necessary, adjustments will be made regarding the expansion of direct financial support instruments.
As the Minister noted, in order to quickly respond to the state of the food market and take measures to prevent accelerating price increases for socially important goods, weekly monitoring and control of prices for basic food products is carried out. According to the latest monitoring, there are no sharp changes in prices.
In order to provide the population of the republic with foodstuffs at affordable prices and to saturate the market with agricultural products, if necessary, agricultural fairs will be intensified, where the products of mainly local producers will be offered.
The control over timely social payments by the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tatarstan has been strengthened.
“To ensure coordinated work with local governments, employment centers and enterprises, weekly monitoring on social situation is introduced in the main organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan in terms of wages, cases of transferring to part-time work and reduction. In order to ensure a balanced budget of the republic, control over the receipt of tax payments is carried out”, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov emphasized.
Thus, a coordinated work has been organized in the republic to monitor and control the situation in the economic and social spheres in order to take timely and prompt measures if necessary.
