The Minister of economy of Tatarstan made a report on the forecast of social and economic development of the Republic for 2020-2024 in the Parliament of the Republic.
In 2020 — 2024, the growth rate of Tatarstan's economy is projected in the range of 102-103. 3%.
"The forecast provides for further balanced development of municipalities of the Republic, including agglomerations. The growth of economic activity will be provided primarily by the volume of industrial production in the manufacturing industries, " Tatarstan economy Minister Farid Abdulganiev said.
The Institute of special economic zones will be an effective tool of development in the forecast period: the number of special economic zones in Tatarstan will increase to three.
Today, the number of residents of Innopolis has increased to 84 companies. At the stage of obtaining the status of residents 3 more companies approved by the Supervisory Board of the SEZ. By the end of the year, the number of residents, according to the Minister, will increase to 90.
The development of the SEZ of industrial and production type "Alabuga" continues, where 57 residents are already located, 33 of them are engaged in industrial and production activities. Today, the share of SEZ "Alabuga" accounts for half of the revenue of all special economic zones of Russia and about 80% of the revenue of industrial-production type SEZ.
"An application has been prepared for the creation of a new special economic zone of industrial and production type "Alma" on the territory of Nizhnekamsk, Almetyevsk and Leninogorsk municipal districts. The strategic investor of the project is the company "Tatneft". At least 17 resident companies will operate on its territory. By 2025, the volume of investments of anchor residents of Alma will reach 67.9 billion rubles, more than 1,400 new jobs will be created, " Farid Abdulganiev said.
The development of Tatarstan's economy will be accompanied by an increase in labor productivity and wages. Inflation in 2020-2024 will not exceed 4%, unemployment will remain at a relatively low level.
At the end of 2019, the gross regional product is projected to exceed 2.5 trillion rubles. Tatarstan consistently moves to GRP of 5 trillion rubles.
Earlier, the forecast of social and economic development of Tatarstan was approved at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
