Not just milk: business growth point in Baltasi and Atnya regions

Prospects of development of the "milk regions" of Tatarstan  have been discussed with rural entrepreneurs in the framework of balance comission in Atnya and Baltasi districts.

Tatarstan is the leader of the dairy industry in Russia. Much of the credit for this belongs to Atnya and Baltasi districts. In the ranking of regions of the Ministry of agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan in terms of milk production for the 1st half of 2019, Atnya district takes the third place. During this period the volume of milk production here was 38635,4 tons. A significant part of this milk is produced by the agricultural production cooperative "Tan", on the loose content of which there are 1000 cows.

Specialists of the Ministry of economy of Tatarstan who visited the enterprise were told that the daily sale of milk is about 35 tons. It's productivity is ensured by the organization of conditions of maintenance, the correct balanced feeding of animals and the use of digital technologies – each cow is chipped, which allows you to quickly monitor its condition, milk yield and build an optimal model of caring for animals. However, about 50% of the raw milk yield today goes to the neighboring region-Mari El and about the same amount of meat the company sells in live weight to other regions. According to the experts of the Ministry of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, along with milk and meat from the Republic goes and value added tax, as its processing is carried out outside Tatarstan. Potential investment in milk processing in the area is not yet filled and can become a promising and profitable business.

In Atnya district, the commission has also visited mixed farming, LLC "Tukaevsky", lumber production of Ilshat Millizyanov and a workshop for making of metal products LLC "Yaktash".

Unlike Atnya, Baltasi district the butter-dairy plant – the representative office of LLC "Archa" is actively engaged in the dairy production. Today, the company buys milk ferment – in Denmark, the moulds for production of cheese in Spain, packaging for cheese – in Volgograd, paper bags under serum – in Mariy-El, detergents – in Samara. Experts of the Ministry of economy will analyze with the help of the Aggregator "Exchange platform" manufacturers of such goods in Tatarstan to enable Republican entrepreneurs to sell their products to large enterprises in the region. Perhaps they will become new investment niches for the Republic.

Personal meetings and direct communication with entrepreneurs of the districts allow, thus, to assess the economic situation of the district and to find the points of business growth of the Republic.

In the framework of the balance Commission in Baltasinsky district of the specialists of RT Ministry of economy also got acquainted with the work Bombassaro sausage shop, plants for the production of Windows and doors of plastic "FarMat'', production wood-processing Bulat Fazliev, basket weaving self-employed Gusman Khasanshin.

The main problems that entrepreneurs name are the sales of products, lack of personnel and working capital, high costs for certification and others. On all these issues, entrepreneurs were advised by the specialists of the Entrepreneurship support fund, who are part of the Commission.
