Minister of economy met the founders of Wildberries
The development of e-commerce have been discussed today at the meeting between the Minister of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev and the founders of international company Wildberries Tatiana and Vladislav Bakalchuk.
Wildberries online store was founded in 2004. This is the marketplace, working directly with apparel manufacturers and official distributors. Wildberries Internet-shop receives 400 thousand orders every day. According to the company, in 2018, the turnover of Wildberries increased by 72 % to 118.7 billion rubles. In 2019, russian Forbes included the founder of the company Tatyana Bakalchuk in the rating of visionary entrepreneurs, who built a business from scratch and changed the life of Russia.
"Favorable environment for the development of e-commerce has been formed in Tatarstan. The potential of e-Commerce in Tatarstan is underestimated, and we hope that Wildberries will take an active part in the further development of this market - both as a participant and as an expert," said minister of economy Farid Abdulganiev.
Wildberries delegation came to Kazan with a two-day visit. Today they visit Tatarstan investment development agency, Innopolis city, Zelenodolsk industrial park, and on July 31 they will get acquainted with the investment infrastructure of Naberezhnye Chelny.
