Entrepreneur from Buinsk intends to feed Tatarstan residents with “useful” products

Tons of spelt wheat, flour and pasta from the same grain. An entrepreneur from Buinsk organized the production of useful products. The President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited today Polba M plant. The company was organized in 2015. Today it specializes in production of various products from spelt wheat: wholegrain and crushed cereals, flour, pasta, etc. Polba contains more protein than wheat grain and more proteic substance than a chicken egg, experts said.

The grain is supplied by both local producers and companies from other regions of the country. In 2018, more than 620 tons of products were sold, which is 11% more than a year earlier. The company employed 11 people with an average salary of up to 38 thousand rubles.

In a few months, it is planned to commission a shop for milk collection and processing in one of the buildings. To date, a milk cooler has been purchased, equipment is being installed. The launch of the new complex will create 5 more jobs. Deputy Minister Oleg Pelevin spoke about the measures of support of the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan.
