Citizen of the Russian Federation can get two foreign passports. Application can be submitted at the MFC offices
Privolzhskiy department of the MFC Kazan, branches in Zelenodolsk and Leninogorsk. These multifunctional centers receive applications for a second foreign passport. The document can be ordered in cases when you decide to visit countries which do not recognize the sovereignty of each other, when the passport is in the consulate of a foreign country to obtain a visa and there is a need to urgently go to a foreign trip.
In the near future, a second passport will be available in Nizhnekamsk, Almetyevsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Chistopol, Elabuga and Bugulma. Now the MFC in these cities is connecting equipment.
The second passport is issued only of a new sample (biometric). This is a new generation passport, which contains fingerprints, has more pages, simplifies the process of identification of a person when passing through passport control. The validity of the document is 10 years.
