Maksim Oreshkin: "Things, that Tatarstan is doing now, are a result of effective use of the existing infrastructure"

The Board of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia held a meeting today. Results of 2017 were summed up, plans for 2017 and the nearest future were dscussed.  "The most important thing for the Ministry of Economic Development is investment. It is important to ensure that these huge opportunities, existing for business, become a real way for millions of people to make money", - noted the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev.

Development of infrastructure is a key issue in accelerating the economic growth of Russia, said the Head of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia Maksim Oreshkin. "Things, that Tatarstan is doing now, are a result of effective use of the existing infrastructure". As the Minister of Economy of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev commented at the board meeting, the special economic zone "Alabuga", "Innopolis" successfully operate in the republic, the first in Russia the territory of advancing socio-economic development (TOSER) "Nazerezhnye Chelny" has already proved its efficiency and created about 2 thousand new jobs. The complex of interconnected investment and infrastructure projects is provided for the "InnoKam" concept, which was approved by the Russian Government, - said the Minister. "10% of all industrial parks are located in Tatarstan with over 30% of all resident companies of the whole country. And we increase these figures year by year.  Projects aimed at preserving employment in small cities and rural regions and creating new added value in them are of particular importance", - believes Farid Abdulganiev.
