The improvement of food safety management was discussed today at the Entrepreneur's House

The support of small and medium-sized businesses was discussed today at the Entrepreneur's House. Representatives of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, Association of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Kazan and "METRO Cash and Carry" discussed the implementation of a joint project.

The project aims to support and develop local food producers in developing and implementing quality management systems using global practices of the GFSI*, representatives of the small retail segment and restaurant business basing on a special training program for cafes and restaurants.

One of the key areas of the project is the development of quality and food safety related potential of food producers of the Republic of Tatarstan through participation in the program for the development and implementation of the main elements of international food safety management systems in accordance with GFSI.
