The procedure for the Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) of bills, adopted by the State Duma in the second reading has been established

By a Decree of the Russian Government of October 7, 2017 No. 1229 the Rules for the federal executive authorities to evaluate the regulatory effects of RIA of draft legal acts and draft decisions of the Eurasian Economic Commission, approved by a Government Decree of December 17, 2012 No. 1318, are supplemented by a new section, establishing a special procedure for the RIA of bills adopted by the State Duma in the  second reading. The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia is authorised to hold a public discussion of such bills, as well as to prepare  the Expert's Opinion on the RIA.
