On October 15, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a session of the Economic Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on creation and development of industrial parks and sites in Tyulyachi region, where he took part in opening of new production facilities in “Tyulyachi” industrial park.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Director of the Department of Small and Medium Business of Russian Ministry of Economic Development Natalia Larionova, representatives of ministries and agencies, heads of municipal regions, industrial parks and enterprises took part in the session.

On October 15, 2014 the meeting of Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on ecology, environmental management, agro-industrial and food policy at which deputies considered the forecast of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2015-2017 and the bill of the budget of the republic for 2015 and planning period of 2016 - 2017 years took place. The vice-chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Yury Kamaltynov took part in work of committee. The deputy minister of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Ayrat Shamsiyev acquainted with the forecast of social and economic development of the republic for 2015 and on planning period 2016 and 2017 of members of the committee.

On October 14, 2014 the First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Sariya Siraziyeva took part in the meeting devoted to the organization of work of the electronic catalog of production performed in the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting passed in the Ministry of Agriculture and the food of the Republic of Tatarstan. The electronic catalog was presented on September 12, 2014 at a meeting of Economic council at the Cabinet of Ministers the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan reports about extension of term of order taking for participation in a republican stage of the All-Russian competition "The Young Businessman of Russia — 2014" till October 17, 2014. For assistance to development of youth business in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan together with Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan and the public youth organizations carries out a republican stage of the All-Russian competition "The Young Businessman of Russia — 2014"

From October 14 to November 5, 2014 order taking of subjects of infrastructure of property support of small and average business of the Republic of Tatarstan for participation in accreditation according to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan of 27.08.2014 No. 616 "Accreditation of subjects of infrastructure of property support of small and average business of the Republic of Tatarstan" is declared.

On October 15, 2014 at a meeting of Committee on social policy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan deputies considered the forecast of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2015-2017 and the bill of the budget of the republic for 2015 and planning period of 2016 - 2017. The meeting was held by the Chairman of Committee Svetlana Zakharova. The vice-chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Rimma Ratnikova took part in work of Committee. The report on key parameters of the forecast of social and economic development of the republic for 2015 and on planning period 2016 and 2017 was made by the First Deputy Minister of Economy Sariya Siraziyeva.

On October 14, 2014 in the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan the meeting of Committee on economy, investments and business on which deputies considered the forecast of social and economic development of the republic for 2015 and on planning period 2016 both 2017, and the bill of the budget of the republic for 2015 and planning period of 2016 - 2017 took place. The Chairman of Committee Rafis Burganov held a meeting. Sariya Siraziyeva submitted the forecast of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2015 and on planning period 2016 and 2017.

On October 14, 2014 the meeting of Committee on legality and law of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on which deputies considered 15 questions took place. The vice-chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Yury Kamaltynov took part in work of committee. During a meeting the First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Sariya Siraziyeva made the report on the forecast of social and economic development of the republic for 2015 and on planning period 2016 and 2017.

On October 14, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov and Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov took part in a traditional annual forum “Open innovations” in Moscow.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and Chairman of Chinese State Council Lǐ Kèqíang delivered speeches at a plenary session.

Later on, Rustam Minnikhanov spoke at a governor’s session of the forum that was dedicated to priorities of technological development of regions, support of demand for innovative products and international cooperation within the framework of joint Russia-China projects.

Speaking at the session, Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the task is to increase the share of small and medium business in GRP to 34 per cent. Currently, the share of industrial enterprises in the segment of small and medium business makes 16 per cent. Small and medium enterprises are mainly presented in the sphere of trade and services. However, potential opportunities of the republic enable increasing the share of small and medium business twice.
