According to Institute of statistical researches and economy of knowledge of Higher School of Economics National Research University (ISIEZ) accumulating indicators of OECD, UNESCO, Eurostat and Rosstat for 2015 in world top-20 on costs of research and development Russia was placed on the ninth place ($40,5 billion). 

In Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan on 10/4/2016 the first general meeting of potential participants of the Construction cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan has taken place. At meeting agreements on participation in industrial activity of a cluster were solemnly signed and the concept of development of a cluster was accepted. The meeting has marked formation of the Construction cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Tatarstan has prepared the monthly rating of social and economic development of municipal districts and city districts of the Republic of Tatarstan for January – August, 2016.
In the general rating for January – August, 2016 the leading positions were taken by Kazan (1 place), Almetyevsk (the 2nd place) and Nizhnekamsk (the 3rd place)  municipal districts.
