The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan announced the start of the Republican contest of journalistic work and media projects on development of small and medium-sized businesses in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Winners of the annual republican competition “Fifty Best Innovative Ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan”, organized by the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, were awarded.

“Development of a youth PR-agency”, “Creation of ethno-cultural center”, “Literary-sports quest “The Second Youth”, “Festival of sugar culture”, “Career Navigator”. These and other projects were presented today in Naberezhnye Chelny. The zonal stage of the Republican Charity Festival “Social Fair” was held in Avtograd. The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Oleg Pelevin.

A delegation from Udmurtia headed by First Deputy Prime Minister, Aleksandr Svinin arrived in Tatarstan. This visit takes place within the framework of exchange of experience in support, development and protection of entrepreneurship.

An educational seminar organized by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan on topic “Commercial principles of intellectual property assets management” was held at the House of Entrepreneurs.

A competition of strategic initiatives "Locomotives of Growth" has started in Tatarstan. Professionals in the industrial sector, economics and management under the age of 40 years, graduate students in the areas of "Economics" and "Management" may participate in the competition.

Acceptance of applications for participation in the 7th stage of "Commercialization" program of the Innovation Support Fund has started. It is aimed at supporting innovation activities of small enterprises that have completed the research and development stage and are planning to create or expand production.

Today, Farid Abdulganiev met with the Minister of Economy and Regional Development of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Egor Vasilyev and the Deputy Head of the Administration of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Aleksandr Zhavner.

Projects for development of SMEs that will be implemented in Tatarstan in the coming years were discussed in Chelyabinsk where the VIII All-Russian Conference "Development of infrastructure systems to support small and medium-sized businesses" was held.

This year, 32 graduates of the “Start-Career” project received grants amounted to 117 thousand rubles. Each of them will be aimed at starting a business. Most of the projects will be implemented in the service sector. Among the most interesting ideas are the creation of a theater for children, opening of a speech therapy center, a law office, a hairdressing salon and a tailor shop.
