On April 1, an online conference for business “Adaptation Technologies: How to Survive and Grow?” will be held. A series of anti-crisis conferences was launched by the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan together with the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Enterprise Factory project on behalf of the President of the Republic Rustam Minnikhanov. The project was created to quickly adapt entrepreneurs to current conditions and is part of the business support ecosystem.

The Export Support Center subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan invites export-oriented organizations and entrepreneurs belonging to the categories of small and medium-sized businesses to fill out an online application for entering them into the register of the Center. The statement gives entrepreneurs access to all services and support measures of the Center, and provides an opportunity to accompany the business at the stages of its export activities. Services are provided free of charge, or on the terms of favorable co-financing.

According to the Decree of the President of the Republic, starting on March 28, a moratorium on supervisory inspections was introduced in Tatarstan. The corresponding ban is valid on the territory of the republic until May 1. The exception is unscheduled inspections, the basis of which is harm to life, health of citizens, emergencies of a natural and man-made nature, and inspections to issue permits.

On March 29, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the “Entrepreneurship Factory” project, launches a training anti-crisis program called “Adaptation Technology”, which will help entrepreneurs adapt to changing economic realities.

Employees of the Center for Artificial Intelligence of a Russian IT university located on the territory of the Innopolis SEZ trained a neural network to diagnose coronavirus from medical images. Diagnostic accuracy is 80%, which will help doctors quickly identify patients with developing coronavirus pneumonia in mass diagnostics around the world.

On March 26, a joint meeting of the commissions on consideration of applications for concluding agreements on implementation of activities at the Republican TASED and the Investment Council of the Republic of Tatarstan chaired by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan A.V. Pesoshin was held at the republican House of Government, and the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan N. Kondratova took part in the meeting. The total value of investment projects considered at the meeting amounted to 616.4 million rubles, including the volume of capital investments - 451.4 million rubles. During the implementation of these projects, 464 jobs will be additionally created.

The Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) launches the Smart.Evolution contest with a prize fund of three million rubles on the Smarteka platform. Thanks to the contest, ASI plans to identify the best practical solutions, including the fight against coronavirus and its consequences, as well as the ability to adapt people and businesses to new living conditions during and after the pandemic.

Tatarstanstat provided data on the main trends in the socio-economic development of the republic in January-February 2020. With regard to macroeconomic indicators - according to the results of the first two months of the year - the industrial production index in Tatarstan amounted to 105.1% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the volume of shipped products, in turn - 433.3 billion rubles.

The Entrepreneurship Support Fund subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan has begun accepting applications from small and medium-sized entrepreneurs registered in seven cities of the republic for microloans on new preferential terms. To accelerate the development of the SME sector, Tatarstan received federal subsidies, which made it possible to set the microloan rate at 3%.
