In 2018, the health sector will introduce check lists during the execution of state control (supervision)

19 July 2017, Wednesday

From January 1, 2018 check lists will be used during execution of planned tests in the field of medical activity, circulation of medical and pharmaceutical products.

This innovation is based on the Decree No. 840 "On the introduction of changes in certain acts of the  Government of the Russian Federation in part of the obligation to  use check lists in the conduct of routine checks", adopted by the Government of the Russian Federation on July 14, 2017. The document has been prepared by the Ministry of Health of Russia for the purposes of implementation of the priority program "Reform of the monitoring and supervisory activities".

The checklists should include the issues affecting the mandatory requirements addressed to a legal entity and an individual entrepreneur, the observance of which is most important in preventing the risk of harm to the life and health of citizens. The subject of the scheduled check is limited to the list of the issues included in the check list.

The introduction of check lists would reduce the administrative and financial costs of citizens and organizations increase the transparency of the monitoring and supervisory bodies and reduce the time of scheduled inspections.
