The Government of the Russian Federation has approved the Actions Plan for the implementation of the Strategy of scientific and technological development of the Russian Federation for 2017-2019 years

The Ministry of Education of Russia is the main coordinator of the plan's fulfillment.

The plan includes a whole range of regulatory and organizational measures. So, the plan envisages the development and approval of state program "Scientific Technological Development of the Russian Federation" , including the program of fundamental researches and complex scientific-technological programs for priority directions, determined by the Strategy. Implementation of such complex programs will be funded at the expense of other state programs, development institutes and funds of support for scientific, scientific-technical and innovative activities.

The authorities for developing complex scientific-technology programs and projects of the full innovative cycle, their technical evaluation (expertise), monitoring of fulfillment and preparation of proposals for their correction, continuation and finalization of fulfillment will be assigned to the created councils on priority directions of science and technology development.

The plan also envisages the measures for creation of the opportunities for successful realization of creative potential of young people in the field of science and innovations, including within the framework of the international scientific -technical cooperation.

The federal executive bodies, state corporations, development institutions, scientific, technological and innovation support funds, the Russian Academy of Sciences and the executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation are the responsible executors of the Plan.
