This year the Republic of Tatarstan plans to attract about 70 billion dollars from the federal budget

Today in Kazan, at the base of the Investment Development Agency, the President of the State Council - Farid Mukhametshin, met with members of the Federation Council and Deputies of the State Duma of the FM of the Russian Federation, elected from Tatarstan, the representatives of the profile ministries and departments of the Republic. The parliamentarians discussed the issues of attracting funds from the federal budget to the Republic's economy and participation of Tatarstan in the federal targeted programs.
The meetings of Head of the Republic's Parliament with the delegation from Tatarstan  in the Federal Assembly of the RF and the heads of executive bodies of Tatarstan - the traditional form of joint parliamentary work in attracting federal funds of the federal budget into the Republic's economy. This format of communication was suggested by the President of Tatarstan - Rustam Minnikhanov in 2012. In accordance with the functions of the Duma's profile committees, 16 work groups have been established, each headed by a deputy-supervisor. The work groups also include the representatives of the Republican ministries and departments. The general direction and coordination of the work groups are carried out by the President of the Council of State - Farid Mukhametshin. 
"Such meetings take place on different production sites on a monthly basis," - underlined Farid Mukhametshin, giving his comments to the journalists about his view about efficiency of this form of work - the main objective is to discuss the possibilities of attracting federal funds to the Republic, and we are considering the issues of passing our legislative initiatives, appeals of the Council of State to the State Duma. Last time the deputies met in PJSC  Kazanorgsintez in February this year. The Investment Development Agency as a platform for the current meeting was not selected by accident. The state structure, established six years ago, has developed a wealth of experience in attracting investments and creating a favourable investment climate in the Republic”. Farid Mukhametshin called IDA a new structure that had already proved effective. 
The head of the Parliament of the Republic also recalled that in the recent years, Tatarstan has been among the most attractive regions for investment. And, as a result of the 2017 national ranking, Tatarstan has been declared for the third consecutive year a leading region, ensuring the most favourable conditions for business and investment activities. 
"For the third time, Tatarstan has become a leader among the regions on investment attraction,"- underlined the head of the Investment Development Agency -Talia Minullina, speaking about the Republic's potential, and in May this year our advanced positions in this area confirmed the professional community in the tele program "Business Agent"  of the "Russia" channel. 
In anticipation of the discussion of the main issue, Farid Mukhametshin acquainted the audience with the basic indicators of the social and economic development of the Republic. He highlighted the 3% growth of industrial production over the past five months. The scopes of construction remained practically on the same level (99.7% with 927.60 thousand square metres of housing). The production of agricultural products is also growing - 101.5%. The social "presidential" programs are fully implemented. 
"Mastering new technologies and new directions begin to show results, which enables the Republic of Tatarstan to develop more confidently, weakening dependence on oil,"- underlined Farid Mukhametshin in defining the prospects for the development of Tatarstan, we will continue to promote these areas by attracting investments into special economic zones and territories of advanced development." In separate Farid Mukhametshin outlined the state support programme for private farmsteads, describing it as a crucial point in terms of economic and food security, and from a position of social significance. 
"The outcome of our work with you is directly related to the development of the region and the quality of life of the population." Therefore, in the context of further optimizing budget expenditures, I call you not to lower the gained momentum in the established directions. "It is our task - to remain among the leaders," - said Farid Mukhametshin in his address to the colleagues.
 As was noted by the Deputy Minister of the Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan - Natalia Tarkaeva, this year the Republic applied for 71.6 billion  Rubles. The approved limit amounted to 68.9 billion Rubles. The program part of the federal budget claimed for 60 billion Rubles, the approved limit amounted to 58.8 billion. Rubles. Tatarstan takes part in 23 state and 16 federal targeted programs.
