Today the meeting of the Economic Council of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan was held. The meeting was dedicated to the issue of implementation in the Republic of a regional standard for industrial career development.
The President of the Republic of Tatarstan - Rustam Minnikhanov, the CEO of the ANCO "The Agency of Strategic Initiatives for promoting new projects" - Svetlana Chupsheva, members of the Economic Council, the republic's Government, heads of regions, as well as heads of major plants, organizations and educational institutions of Tatarstan took part in the meeting.
In the context of the meeting the President of the Republic underlined the priority significance of training the highly qualified personnel in order to increase the investment attractiveness of the Republic. Any investor during selecting the territory for placing his production focuses not only on infrastructural and tax advantages, but also on the territory's staffing potential. It is therefore the task of the Republic to respond in a timely manner to the staffing needs of investors through the local expertise.
In addition, Rustam Minnikhanov noted the need to create a favorable environment for investments and human capital flow into the field of high technologies. It is required to form such competencies, which will be required not only today but also in future.
The CEO of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives - Svetlana Chupsheva spoke about best practices in the standard's implementation in the regions. The pilot implementation of the standard is now being implemented in 20 regions and 180 enterprises are included into testing. During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic, the Minister of Education and Science - Engel Fattakhov, made a report on the status of the implementation of the regional standard for industrial career development. He underlined the need for coordinated work of all participants engaged in the implementation of the standard- the Government, educational organizations and enterprises of the Republic.
The report on the staffing for innovative development of the Nizhnekamsk Region was made by the head of the region - Aidar Metshin, and the CEO of Nizhnekamsknefteh - Azat Bikmurzin described the experience of the company's cooperation in the field of training staff with the secondary technical school of petrochemicals and refining, which held the demonstration graduate examination according of the World skills standards.
The standard has been developed by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives together with regional authorities, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the Union "Worldskills Russia". In order to implement the standard, a cooperation agreement between the Republic of Tatarstan, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the Union “Worldskills Russia” was signed last year.
