Today, the 25th Annual NISPAcee Conference "Innovation in Public Sector Administration" was held in Kazan (Privolzhsky) Federal University.
NISPAcee is a network of institutions and schools of public administration in Central and Eastern Europe, which is the regional center of UNPAN (European Association for Accreditation of Public Administration). The purpose of NISPAcee events is exchange of knowledge and skills, joining efforts in finding the best solution to the current problems of public administration. Over the next three days, discussions will be held on such issues as reforming state and regional administration and local administration, interregional cooperation, implementing state policy, introducing IT technologies in the management process.
At the opening ceremony, the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Mukhametshin, talked about achievements of the republic in the system of state and municipal administration, which are successfully applied in the state bodies of Tatarstan, and wished the participants of the conference success in developing practical recommendations on optimal structures and technologies of administration.
From the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Deputy Minister Oleg Pelevin spoke at the plenary session of the conference. He spoke about the system of strategic planning of the republic, the priority areas of innovation in the public sector of Tatarstan, including electronic document management, the portal of state and municipal services, the portal "Open Tatarstan", "People's Control", the "People's Inspector" application, the indicative management system and other areas.
At NISPAcee conference "Innovations in Public Sector Administration", which will be held in Kazan until May 20, more than 150 guests take part from 35 countries of the world: Central and Eastern Europe, USA, France and South Africa, representatives of the UN, the International Association of Schools and Institutes State Administration (IASIA), the National Center for Public Civil Service of France (CNFPT), American Society of Public Administration (ASPA), rector of more than 10 universities in Central and Eastern Europe.
