Mr. Artem Zdunov inspected the production sites on the territory of Federal Penal Service

The Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Mr. Artem Zdunov and Director of NCO " The guarantee fund of the Republic of Tatarstan" Mr. Diljus Shavaliev on May 17  visited three production sites located on the territories of the Federal Penal Service (FKU IK-2, FKU IK-18, FKU IK-19) with a purpose of joint study and making proposals for Federal Penal Service in the Republic of Tatarstan (hereinafter the Federal Penal Service (FPS) ) to manufacture new products being  in demand in the economy industries. During the visit to the production area, the Minister got acquainted with the existing small and medium-sized businesses. He highly appreciated the results of the activities of a number of entrepreneurs, such as: LLC "Master Star", LLC Alcor, LLC TPF Centrocon, IE M.I. Saljahov and etc. At the end of the visit a meeting was arranged with representatives of the Federal Penal Service,  which worked out the basic measures to improve demand for products manufactured on the territory of FPS.

Ten Federal State institutions of the Federal Penal Service exist now in the Republic of Tatarstan, on the territory of which enterprises or production sites are working. Enterprises of criminal-executive system of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan have the following production facilities which can be used for:

- metal processing;

- wood processing;

- sewing production;

- production of agricultural products, etc.

When using the services of FPS the SME subjects can save on paying rent (no rent), salary (salary of convicts is one minimal monthly salary - 7500 RUB), storage of manufactured production (no rent), procurement of equipment for production (FPS has its own manufacturing facilities).
