KAMAZ develops sales of trucks with driver assistance systems

PJSC “KAMAZ” begins to expand the new range of truck sales, especially heavy trucks and heavy-duty tractors equipped with ADAS systems. ADAS system of the first level, which will be installed on trucks in the year 2017, will monitor compliance with the driver and road marking requirements of road signs warning of crossings and trips. At that the systems will have an informative purpose, and will not interfere with driving process.

By 2019 KAMAZ plans to release a new generation of vehicles with intelligent systems where the key components is the engine, cabin will be absolutely new, will have a new six-cylinder in-line engine KAMAZ.

We remind that KAMAZ recently has started producing new model  KAMAZ-5490 Neo. Also in June the largest Russian truck producer begins to release new engines called P6 (six-cylinder) that are much better and more modern than the previous motors. For example, the resource of the new unit is 1.5 million. km, also the new engine is more environment-friendly and more affordable. It is assimed to launch production of new motors at full capacity in 2019; new engines will make the products of KAMAZ even more competitive, modern and popular.
