The REC and the Economy Ministry of the Republic of Tatarstan completed an Agreement on the Support of AIC Exporters
The REC and the Economy Ministry of the Republic of Tatarstan completed an Agreement on the Establishment of a Pilot Center for consulting Support for the Export of AIC Products. It will work on the Basis of the acting Coordination Center for the Support of Export-oriented Small and Medium-sized Business Entities of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Under the Terms of the Agreement, in 2017, the Center will hold Events to Support the Export of AIC products. Among such Events stand out Training Seminars, Direct and "Reverse" Business Missions abroad for the purpose of Further Promotion of the Republic AIC Products on the Foreign Markets. Special Attention will be given to Promoting the Participation of the Tatarstan AIC Companies in International Exhibitions and Fairs.
In case of Successful Implementation of the Pilot Project, according the Decision of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation such Centers may appear throughout the Country.
The initiative was implemented within the framework of the Consolidated Plan of the Priority Project "Export of Agricultural Products", one of the main directions of the strategic development of the Russian Federation "International Cooperation and Export", approved by the Presidium of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation for Strategic Development and Priority Projects. Natalya Minaeva, the head of the project for working with the regional export support infrastructure of the Russian export center, noted that "foreign companies are demanding more Russian agricultural products: a request from the Vietnamese company for Russian meat products, a request from Angola to purchase equipment for agricultural farms, requests From Bulgaria to buy Russian sunflower oil, grain and wheat. At the same time, a large stratum of Russian producers does not know about its relevance, is not able and is afraid to export. First of all, it concerns the sector of small and medium-sized enterprises. The centers are designed to support locally and solve the problems of exporters, while using an individual approach to each."
