The 2nd Forum of the Central Federal Region, dedicated to Public Private Partnership (PPP), will take place on April 19 in the House of Government of the Moscow Region

On April 19 in the House of Government of the Moscow Region the forum, dedicated to the issues of creating conditions for enhancement of investors' interests to the infrastructure projects of the regions of Central Russia, will take place. The event is held by the Government of the Moscow Region together with the Center of PPP development with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development and the Agency of Strategic Initiatives.

Taking into account the relevancy of development of mechanisms, enabling to engage extra-budget financing on market terms within scope of PPP, the platforms of the Forum will gather the reps of all subjects of the RF, forming the Central Federal District, reps of the federal authorities, heads of infrastructure companies and public organizations, financial institutions, small and medium sized business, as well as leading Russian experts in the field of PPP.

Within scope of the Forum’s business program the first strategy session of the all Russia program of support of the project initiatives will be held. The program has been launched by the Center of development of PPP with support of the Council of Federation and the Agency of Strategic Initiatives and is focused on selection of the most successful regional and municipal PPP initiatives. During the plenary discussion the participants of the Forum will discuss issues of creation of the institutional medium for attracting private investments, planning infrastructure development at the regional and municipal levels, project management and financial aspects of PPP projects follow up. The most successful PPP practices will be presented at the presentation session, where the "qualified customers" and private partners will discuss major issues arising during initiation and participation in PPP projects.

The attention will be also paid to the topic of enhancing the investment attractiveness of projects in perspective industries – within scope of the expert session the perspectives of projects implementation in industry and agriculture will be discussed.

In the final part of the business program the participants of discussions will give their recommendations. They will enable the replication of best regional and municipal PPP practices in those public entities, where there is no yet sufficient experience in implementing infrastructure projects on PPP principles.
