On the 11th of April the Annual Conference Fitch Ratings will take place in Moscow

On April 11 Moscow will host the annual Conference of the Fitch Ratings around the cities and regions of Russia, organized by the international rating agency Fitch Ratings. This event annually gathers about 100 participants and provides an excellent opportunity of exchanging views and discussing the most challenging issues today. The first persons of administrations of Russian cities and regions, representatives of banks and management companies, international organizations and media are invited to participate in the conference.

       The program of the Conference is planned to discuss the following issues:

•  Russian cities and regions: stabilization in the sector on the background of renewed growth in the economy;
•  Review of regional finance sector in 2016;
•  Comparative analysis of budgetary indicators of regions and cities of RF, rated by Fitch Ratings;
•  Forecast for the sector in 2017 and basic rating factors for Russian regions and cities;
•  Cities and regions of Europe: stable forecast against the backdrop of improvements in state finances;
•  International and regional finance (Europe, Middle East and Africa);
•  Fitch approach to ranking of local and regional authorities;
• Rankings of cities and regions of Europe: stable forecast in 2017 in general the reforms provide debt sustainability, while countercyclical infrastructure costs condition the growth of borrowing.
