Dеputies of the State Council of RT approved the report about activities of the authorities of executive power in Tatarstan in 2016

The report on activities of the executive authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2016 on March 10 of this year was submitted by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mr. R. Minnikhanov for consideration of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On his instruction the main report on this issue was made by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Mr. I. Khalikov. He stressed that the work of the Government in the year 2016 was aimed at addressing the major challenges identified in the socio-economic development strategy of the Republic of Tatarstan up to year 2030.

Tatarstan remains the region-leader in major macroeconomic indicators. According to the volume of gross regional product the Republic takes the sixth place among the subjects of the Russian Federation, agriculture and the volume of investments in the fixed capital - the third place in industrial manufacturing and the fifth place - in construction.

Over the past several years, Tatarstan consistently ranks among the most attractive investment regions. For two consecutive years Tatarstan occupies the first place according to the national rating of state of investment climate in the regions of the Russian Federation, developed by ANO “Agency of strategic initiatives for promoting new projects”.

The Republic has created favorable conditions for the continuous build-up of innovative activity. In 2016 Tatarstan took the first place in the ranking of innovative development of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

Traditionally, the report on the activities of bodies of executive power had been drafted taking into account the opinions of the deputies. The information on the responses to 32 questions from the committees and deputy associations of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan is attached to the report. In addition, the deputies asked additional questions and in the framework of the document discussion.

Following the discussion, the deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, approved the report of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.
