In 2017 parliamentarians plan to attract more than 40 billion rubles in the Republic economy

Today in Kazan at the premises of PAO “Kazanorgsintez” the State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin held a meeting with Federation Council members and the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russian Federation deputies, elected by Tatarstan and the Republic relevant Ministries and Departments’ representatives.

The parliamentarians discussed issues on attraction of federal funds in the Republic economy and Tatarstan’s participation in federal target programs.

Meetings of the Republic Parliament Head in the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation with Tatarstan deputation and Tatarstan Executive State Government Bodies’ heads is a traditional form of parliamentarians joint work for attraction of federal funds in the Republic's economy.

Such communication format has been proposed by the Republic of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov in 2012.

Having predicted the discussion of the main issue, the Republic Parliament Head spoke about results of the Republic social-economic development, and measured thereof as “good enough”.

“Last year it was possible to attract 71.8 billion rubles from the federal budget to the Republic economy” – informed Farid Mukhametshin his colleagues – “it is somewhat less than in 2015, when Tatarstan has received 75.6 billion rubles”.

The keynote report was made by the Republic of Tatarstan Minister of Economy Artem Zdunov. In particular he emphasized that the volume of applications for the Republic projects and operations financing at the expense of the federal budget was amounted to 47.8 billion rubles, the approved limit was 39.5 billion rubles.

As of today Tatarstan has filed application for participation in the 21st state program and 14 federal target programs (in total there are 42 programs throughout Russia). For the program part of the federal budget has been offered funds in the amount of 40.1 billion rubles, the approved limit was 32.6 billion rubles.

The parliamentarians debriefed the reports of all working groups’ representatives, summarized preliminary results and identified areas where the reserves were not thoroughly used yet.

“The main purpose of today's meeting is to establish system-related work with the State Duma deputies for attraction of federal funds to the Republic economy”- Farid Mukhametshin told the reporters, having summarized the meeting.

The second important issue of today's meeting was timely reception of citizens by the Lower House of the Russian Parliament deputies and their participation in the sessions of municipalities.

It is planned that the next meeting with the State Duma deputies will be held in Moscow.
