President of Tatarstan: Pestrechinsky district has enough reserves for further development

Pestrechinsky district has enough reserves for further development. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov announced it today at the meeting of the Council of Pestrechensky district dedicated to results of municipality’s social and economic development for 2016 and objectives for 2017.

The Minister of Economic Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan Artyom Zdunov, the Chief of Pestrechinsky municipal district Eduard Diyarov, the Chairman of the Council of municipal formations of the Republic of Tatarstan Minsagit Shakirov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Supplies of the Republic of Tatarstan Nikolay Titov, elected officials of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the session.

“The main instrument of carrying out of social-economic and investment politics on the territory of the district is district budget. The main objective of self-governing authorities in balancing of its profits and expenses was fulfilled. Profits in the amount of 699 million 811 thousand rubles, among them internal profits – 48,1 percent, arrived in the consolidated budget of the district”, advised the Chief of the district Eduard Diyarov.

Agricultural branch remains the leading and dominant in the district’s economics. The amount of gross production of agro-industrial complex in all categories made 3,6 milliard rubles (111%), receipts in cash – 2,8 milliard rubles. More than 907 million rubles were invested in agriculture in the year of account.
 
In his turn, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that high figures in agriculture could be attributed to the presence of the big investor company “Ak Bars Holding” with leading production among the system of agro-industrial complex. Judging by development of agriculture in whole, the Pestrechinsky district takes only 25th position in the republican rating. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan indicated low volumes of milk production, in particular.

Development of minor forms of economic management of the district falls clearly behind by taking only 33rd position. In the Republic, 1205 family farms carry out their activities, 107 of them are under construction, 3 thousand work places were created to the present day. For the period of 2 years, 824 personal subsidiary economies received 150 million rubles of subsidies. However, there are only 14 minifarms in the Pestrechinsky district (5 of them are technological ones), 4 minifarms were built in the last year.

According to Rustam Minnikhanov, the inhabitants of the Pestrechinsky district miss out good chances for developing business in the country-side. “One of your main advantages is your geographical location. Kazan is next door to you, and this is a large market outlet, he underlined. The management of the district shall take more actions for developing these lines, searching for ideas in order to make country people interested by helping them. Without developing agriculture we take risks of losing the countryside”.

“According to the district’s Strategy-2030 it is planned to develop industrial parks, logistics centers and motorway services. It is necessary to intensify efforts for attraction of investments to the abovementioned projects. I would make complimentary remarks on the district’s work for implementation of major investment project for construction of agricultural products processing logistics park “Agromir”. Besides, it is necessary to intensify construction of the planned industrial sites and ensure location of residents’ facilities”- noted in his report the Republic of Tatarstan Minister of Economy Artem Zdunov.

“There are many positive changes in today life of the district in general. I have noticed a couple of problematic issues, but it means that you have large reserves. You know which way to choose”, - said the President of Tatarstan.
