Tatarstan entered in top-3 of a rating of innovative activity of the Russian regions in 2014

The national association of innovations and of information technologies development (NAIITD) sums up the results of "A rating of innovative activity of regions 2014".
The general growth of innovative activity became the main result of research. The general innovative index of territorial subjects of the Russian Federation grew more than 12% that is the highest rate in recent years.
The president of NAIITD Olga Uskova noted that "according to the data obtained by us, one of the main reasons for increase of activity of territorial subjects of the Russian Federation is implementation of the import substitution program. It is confirmed as opinion of the most part of their representatives (according to sociological poll of NAIITD 57% of respondents representatives of territorial subjects of the Russian Federation agreed with it), and positive dynamics on a number of indicators: to number of new startups (average height for 13%) and technologies (8%), the taken-out patents (5%) and others".
"It is extremely important that in the country there arised industrial projects based on essentially new approaches relating to the sixth technological way: a robotics, systems of artificial intelligence, nano - biotechnologies and others. Many heads on places for the last year came to awareness of need of orientation to own resources", - the head of NAIITD emphasizes.
The table of a rating and group of territorial subjects of the Russian Federation with very high innovative activity, as well as previous years, are headed by Moscow. This category was left by St. Petersburg, having moved to group with high activity. Its place was taken deservedly by Tatarstan.
Development of breakthrough projects, such as "Innopolis" and creation of the pilotless vehicle on the KAMAZ base allowed the region to show the highest dynamics - the innovative index grew more than  18% in comparison with last year.
At once the group of regions with high innovative activity grew by three positions. Here It should be noted progress of Perm Krai, the Kaluga and Yaroslavl areas.
It is worth carrying the Amur region to "losers" of a rating (falling on 17 points), Jewish autonomous (14), the Arkhangelsk (13) areas, and also the Nenets Autonomous Area. More than 50% of participants of research (44 territorial subjects of the Russian Federation) practically (within an insignificant error in 2-3 positions) kept the last year's positions. It shows a certain stability in the domestic innovative sphere.
