Competition of youth projects on innovative development of business "Technocrat" is announced

The fund of infrastructure and educational programs together with Fund of assistance to development of small forms of the enterprises in the scientific and technical sphere announced competition of youth projects on innovative development of business "Technocrat". The competition "Technocrat" is accredited within the "UMNIK" program and will be carried out on a platform of RUSNANO.
To participation are invited: graduate students and students of technical colleges, young scientists and research associates, technical design teams, citizens of the Russian Federation from 18 to 28 years, earlier not winning the "UMNIK" program.
To examine conditions of competition in more details and it is possible to submit the application for participation from July 1 to September 30, 2015 on the site http://umnik .fasie.ru.
Selection of winners of the competition "Technocrat" will be made in two stages. At a stage of semifinal selection (on October 1 — on October 31, 2015) projects are estimated by experts in absentia by criteria (scientific novelty, relevance of idea, the technical importance of production or technology, the plan of realization, prospect of commercialization of results of RD, an assessment of the opportunities).
On the basis of estimates of jury on all projects "the rating point" will be removed by a checkpoint and all projects which gathered more than a lowest passing score will be allowed to the final. The projects which passed semifinal selection are invited to internal round where they will be estimated by the same criteria, but already on the basis of presentation and answers of the participant to questions of jury. Winners of competition will receive a grant on development of the project of 400 000 rubles for two years.
As part of the program, the Minister visited the Arsky Industrial Park, where he got acquainted with the current activities and long-term plans of the residents. During the inspection of the production facilities, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a substantive discussion with the heads of enterprises on capacity expansion and improving the efficiency of using the existing infrastructure.
Applications for the Start-Digital Technologies-1 competition (turn 2) are being accepted on the website of the Innovation Promotion Foundation until February 24. Individuals and legal entities, small business entities, can participate in it.
Rustem Mukhamedshin, Director of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in a large–scale event - the strategic session of the Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan, which took place on January 30, 2026 in Kazan at the Entrepreneur's House.
