Artyom Zdunov visited the Tokyo Industrial Technological Research Institute

Today within the III Russian-Japanese meeting on cooperation in the sphere of small and average business the Minister of Economics of the republic and Tatarstan Artyom Zdunov and the First Deputy Minister of Economics of the Republic of Tatarstan – the director of the department of development of business Rustem Sibgatulin visited the Tokyo Industrial Technological Research Institute.
The Tokyo Industrialny Technological Research Institute was founded in 1881, it is the largest institution of higher education in Japan specializing on science and equipment. The institute consists of 6 schools, among which more than 40 faculties and the research centers are.
The institute is a platform of support of subjects of small and average business: it exercises control of projects, including technical consultations rendering, carries out of necessary expertizes, provides the equipment in collective use, conducts researches and organizes educational seminars.
As part of the program, the Minister visited the Arsky Industrial Park, where he got acquainted with the current activities and long-term plans of the residents. During the inspection of the production facilities, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a substantive discussion with the heads of enterprises on capacity expansion and improving the efficiency of using the existing infrastructure.
Applications for the Start-Digital Technologies-1 competition (turn 2) are being accepted on the website of the Innovation Promotion Foundation until February 24. Individuals and legal entities, small business entities, can participate in it.
Rustem Mukhamedshin, Director of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in a large–scale event - the strategic session of the Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan, which took place on January 30, 2026 in Kazan at the Entrepreneur's House.
