From May 21 to May 22 there will take place conference on a case of the 70 anniversary of faculty of rocket engines of the Kazan aviation institute

In the Kazan national research technical university of A.N. Tupolev – KAI from May 21 to May 22 there will take place the All-Russian scientific and technical conference devoted to the 70 anniversary from the date of foundation of faculty of rocket engines of the Kazan aviation institute.
In 70 years the faculty trained over 2500 engineers, more than 130 candidates of science and 26 doctors of science. Many graduates of chair became academicians, are awarded high state awards and ranks.
Fundamental scientific and pedagogical works of staff of faculty are also widely known in the country and abroad . Among them are the unique ten-volume reference book "Thermodynamic and Heatphysical Properties of Products of Combustion", four editions of the textbook "Theory of Rocket Engines", a series of manuals and monographs, the reference book and the textbook were awarded the State awards of the USSR.
As part of the program, the Minister visited the Arsky Industrial Park, where he got acquainted with the current activities and long-term plans of the residents. During the inspection of the production facilities, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a substantive discussion with the heads of enterprises on capacity expansion and improving the efficiency of using the existing infrastructure.
Applications for the Start-Digital Technologies-1 competition (turn 2) are being accepted on the website of the Innovation Promotion Foundation until February 24. Individuals and legal entities, small business entities, can participate in it.
Rustem Mukhamedshin, Director of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in a large–scale event - the strategic session of the Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan, which took place on January 30, 2026 in Kazan at the Entrepreneur's House.
