The investment project on creation of a specialized hothouse zone in the Republic of Tatarstan is submitted in the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation

On May 19, 2015 in the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation the Turkish group of companies "Mir Holding" presented the investment project on creation of a specialized hothouse zone in the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting passed with participation of the deputy minister of economic development Alexander Tsybulsky, the director of the department of regional development of the Ministry of economic development Ruslan Zalivatsky, the Minister of Economics of the Republic of Tatarstan Artyom Zdunov, the deputy minister of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Bulat Haziakhmetov, CEO "OEZ PPT "Alabuga" of Timur Shagivaleev, the deputy CEO for development SUE Republican Agro-industrial Center of Investments and Innovations A.Y.Mavlanov, the head of the Mir holding company Ibrahim Mirmakhmutogullara.
The project assumes cultivation of vegetables and fruit as in republic scales, and the countries in general that is especially important in the conditions of import substitution. Implementation of the project is calculated for a period of 7 years.
At the first stage of implementation of the project construction of the first hothouse complex is planned for the area of 5 hectares. For this purpose in the Republic of Tatarstan the platform of JSC OEZ Alabuga in the territory of the Yelabuga municipal area is defined. The cost of investments at the first stage of project will make 12 million dollars at payback of 6 years.
