Russia won the application for the right of carrying out the 33rd World conference of the international association of scientific parks and zones of innovative development IASP 33-rd World Conference 2016 in Moscow in 2016

From Russia as organizers of the application acted Science and technology park "Skolkovo" at interaction with Science and technology park of "Strogino" and Scientific park of Moscow State University of M. V. Lomonosov with assistance of the Center of innovative development of Moscow, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Within final vote the Russian application received the greatest number of voices – 121 voices. For comparison 45 participants voted for Istanbul, the Dutch science and technology park "Utrecht" was supported by 39 participants. It once again confirmed strong positions of the Russian Federation in the International association.

Carrying out the largest conference of scientific parks and innovative structures in Moscow will promote formation of positive image about the scientific, innovative, enterprise environment of Russia as parts of the international community.

For the Russian science and technology parks conference will become unique opportunity for exchange of experience with the leading world experts, expansion of a valuable network of working contacts, discussion of key and topical issues, search of ways of cooperation and interaction with foreign partners.

The world IASP conference will become the effective tool for demonstration of leadership of the Innovative center "Skolkovo" as one of the developing centers in the international innovative community.

Now the working group on the organization of conference is created, the plan of measures is developed, the program of carrying out conference is developed and work on creation of the operating bodies is conducted.

As platforms for carrying out conference it is planned to involve platforms of the Innovative center "Skolkovo", Moscow State University of M. V. Lomonosov, and also platforms in the center of Moscow.

It is expected that the World IASP-2016 conference will attract about 1500 participants – representatives of the Russian and foreign innovative community.
