Days of Sweden in the Republic of Tatarstan

From April 14 to April 17 in the Republic of Tatarstan  Days of Sweden pass. The delegation of Sweden was headed by the Plenipotentiary ambassador of Sweden in the Russian Federation madam Veronika Bard Bringeus. Besides, representatives of 13 Swedish companies were a part of delegation.

Days of Sweden will pass across two directions – business and cultural. Within the business program on April 15 there will take place the meeting of delegation of Sweden with the acting the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. Also meetings with the ministries and departments of the Republic of Tatarstan and with the Tatarstan companies specializing in the sphere of transport, housing and communal services, processings of waste, health care, construction, city planning are planned.

Within the business program will pass two business seminars: the seminar of SymbioCity which will be devoted to the concept of a sustainable development of the cities, and a seminar of SymbioCare at which will is considered exchange of experience in health sector.

On April 16 at 15.00 will pass open lectures about Sweden with participation of the ambassador of Sweden in the Russian Federation Veronika Bard Bringeus in National library of the Republic of Tatarstan and the staff of embassy. Besides, at Mir movie theater the Swedish Wall film festival within which 8 modern Swedish feature films will be submitted to attention of public will open. The festival will last till April 22.
