Artyom Zdunov held a meeting of Advisory council at the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan

On November 21, 2014 enlarged meeting of Advisory council at the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan on discussion of new actions, for inclusion to the Program of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2011-2015 took place.

The Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Artyom Zdunov opened a meeting and presented new members of Advisory council: The chairman of Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on ecology, environmental management and agrarian questions Takhir Hadeev, the CEO of Regional association of employers "Association of the enterprises and businessmen of the Republic of Tatarstan" Alexey Pakhomov, the director of State Budgetary Institution The Center of Perspective Economic Researches at Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, the vice rector for questions of economic and strategic development of the Kazan (Volga) federal university Marat Safiullin and the head of department of economy, finance and the order the state property of the Office of the Cabinet of the Republic of Tatarstan Albert Nafigin.


In the opening speech Minister of Economy noted that, despite delay of rates of economic growth, during implementation of the Program there were high-quality changes in structure of economy:
– the share of the extracting sector in the industry during 4 years decreased from 30% to 24% in industrial output;
– thus the share of oil processing and petrochemistry grew from 29% to 37%;
– the key indicator of quality of life – life expectancy – grew from 70,4 to 72,1 years.
