The delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan studied experience of effective management of innovative clusters on the example of Korea and Singapore

For development of the Kamsky innovative territorial and production cluster on September 20 - 29 the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in an educational program for acquaintance with experience of effective management of innovative clusters in the Pacific Rim on the example of the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Singapore. Representatives of authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of the enterprises and organizations were a part of delegation, research and scientific educational institutions, the infrastructure organizations of the Kamsky innovative territorial and production cluster.

 

Within the program the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan visited the Ministry of the industry and trade of the Republic of Korea (MOTIE) where the meeting of the high-ranking members of delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan with the deputy minister - the director of the department of the special economic zones MOTIE Mr. Sung Ki Pak took place. The deputy director of Department of special economic zones Mrs. So of Jean Li made the report on the subject "Development of Industrial Clusters and Special Economic Zones of the Republic of Korea".


Also KAIST were organized visits to the Techno valley of Pan-Gyo, Innobiz Association, the Korean consulting association of management of KMAC, a technopolis of Daedeok Innopolis Foundation and Leading university of the Republic of Korea.


Representatives of the petrochemical enterprises of the Kamsky innovative territorial and production cluster visited the largest companies of South Korea specializing on oil processing and petrochemistry (SK Energy, Hyosung, GS Caltex, Lotte Fine Chemicals, Kumho P&B Chemicals).


Representatives of automotive industry of the republic visited such enterprises of Korea as Dinex Crane, Donghee Auto, SsangYong Motor Company, Hanyang Precision, Association of car makers of Korea (KAMA), the Korean society of automobile engineers (KSAE) Conducting the research center of automotive industry at National Seoul university SNU.


In the Republic of Singapore the meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Trade and industry of Singapore, the Indorama company, and the largest chemical corporation JTC took place.
