Russia improved indicators in a rating of global competitiveness following the results of 2013

On September 3 within the World economic forum the report "Global competitiveness in 2014-2015" was published. The world economic forum is the Swiss non-profit non-governmental organization, the organizer of meetings of political leaders, businessmen, journalists. Since 1979 experts of a forum publish the annual report "Global competitiveness". In it more than 14 thousand companies from 144 countries of the world analyzed about business climate in their states. On the basis of these indicators the index of global competitiveness of the countries is formed (Global Competitiveness Index, GCI).
As part of the program, the Minister visited the Arsky Industrial Park, where he got acquainted with the current activities and long-term plans of the residents. During the inspection of the production facilities, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a substantive discussion with the heads of enterprises on capacity expansion and improving the efficiency of using the existing infrastructure.
Applications for the Start-Digital Technologies-1 competition (turn 2) are being accepted on the website of the Innovation Promotion Foundation until February 24. Individuals and legal entities, small business entities, can participate in it.
Rustem Mukhamedshin, Director of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in a large–scale event - the strategic session of the Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan, which took place on January 30, 2026 in Kazan at the Entrepreneur's House.
