10 innovators of Tatarstan will receive grants for 48 million rubles

The Foundation for the Promotion of Innovation summed up the results of the Start-1 competition, which is being held jointly with the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia as part of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy". Priority in the selection process was given to projects corresponding to the topics of national technological leadership projects identified by the Russian Government.

According to the results of the competition, 10 winners from Tatarstan will receive grants totaling 48 million rubles for research and development (R&D) in the framework of innovative projects.

Tatarstan's winners include projects in the fields of information technology, medicine, new materials and chemical technologies.

The Start-1 competition helps developers turn scientific ideas into technological solutions and further bring them to the market. As part of the grant, the winner must create a prototype or experimental sample of the product and submit an application for registration of the results of intellectual activity (RID) on the topic of the work performed.
