Tatarstan has launched a new stage of the Start-2 and Business Start contests, which allow small technology companies to launch full-scale production and strengthen their market positions.
The competition was initiated by the Foundation for the Promotion of Innovation in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation under the federal project "Technologies", which is part of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".
Last year, 8 companies from Tatarstan became winners in the Business Start competition, receiving grant support from the state in the amount of 81 million rubles.
The Start-2 competition is aimed at carrying out research and development work (based on the previously obtained scientific and technical groundwork), the results of which will allow us to proceed to the first sales of innovative products being created.
The Business Start competition is focused on the selection of innovative projects involving the creation, expansion and (or) modernization of production necessary for the serial production of innovative products, as well as their subsequent commercialization.
The amount of support for competitions is up to 18 million rubles, subject to mandatory extra-budgetary co-financing.
Applications for the Start-2 and Business Start contests will be accepted until 10:00 a.m. (Moscow time) on September 22, 2025. For more information, follow the link on the website of the Foundation for the Promotion of Innovation (https://fasie.ru/programs/prioritet/#tech ).
Let us recall that Tatarstan is among the top three regions in terms of the number of STCs. There are more than 200 STCs operating in the republic, which have access to a wide range of government support measures within the framework of assistance from the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. Support is available in the form of preferential loans, microfinance, guarantees, leasing, as well as the services of the My Business Center.
In two years, the financial support of the STC in Tatarstan totaled more than 400 million rubles.
