Registration for the federal youth entrepreneurship competition "Create Ours" has started. This is a joint project of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI), the SME Corporation and the Youth Entrepreneurship Initiative Foundation.

Aspiring entrepreneurs from 14 to 28 years old are invited to participate in the selection process. This year there are two directions: "Youth without business" and "Business up to 3 years old". Each participant will be trained in the basics of entrepreneurship, and then develop a project to open a new or scale an existing business.

According to the results of the competition, experts will determine 30 winners who will receive 1 million rubles each and the right to participate in a special acceleration program from the SME Corporation.

"Participation in the Create Ours contest is not just a chance for young entrepreneurs to receive financing, but also a unique opportunity to gain the knowledge, skills and acquaintances necessary for successful business. The Agency strives to support enterprising young people who are ready to realize their ideas and contribute to the economic development of the country. Young entrepreneurs today are tomorrow's leaders, capable of solving complex tasks and moving our economy forward," said Svetlana Chupsheva, Head of ASI.

Starting from April 22, experts will evaluate the work of the participants and determine the winners. Their names will be announced on May 26 during the award ceremony. The best young entrepreneurs will receive grants and invitations to the SME Corporation acceleration program.

"When we held the Create Our Own contest for the first time last year, we saw great interest in it from young people. In total, more than 5,000 people from 88 regions of the country expressed their desire to participate," said Alexander Isaevich, CEO of SME Corporation. — And after the completion of the application campaign, we received requests from those who did not have time to register, with questions about the new competition. Seeing his demand, it was decided to make a second season."
"Young entrepreneurs are the force that creates the country's future. Supporting their initiatives and helping them develop new projects is one of the most important tasks of the state. The Create Ours contest helps young people overcome barriers to business, believe in their ideas, and feel like part of a generation of innovators. The results of last year showed the importance of the project: 30 entrepreneurs were able to declare themselves and prove that they are ready to change the world right now. This is not just training and mentoring, but a real chance for those who are ready to take responsibility for tomorrow," said Alexey Repik, Chairman of Delovaya Rossiya.

"Create OURS" is an important element of the ASI's systematic work to support youth entrepreneurship. As part of this initiative, we are also actively developing the Constructorium digital platform. Participation in the competition should be as accessible and open as possible to all comers. Therefore, all stages of the selection process are online, which gives young people from all over the country a unique opportunity to express themselves and their talents," said Alexander Vaino, Director of the ASI's Young Professionals department.

Registration for the "Create Ours" contest is open until 15:00 Moscow time on March 3. The training will begin on March 11 and last for three weeks. During this time, experts from professional business associations and successful business representatives will share their experience with the participants.

The application can be submitted on the Digital platform of SME.RF. The first "Create Ours" competition was held in April 2024. 30 winners (from 20 regions) received a grant for the development of their business in the amount of 1 million rubles, as well as an invitation to the SME program: Accelerator of youth projects".
